CMM Programmer (PCDMIS) - £20K-£25K + Pension - Lancashire (Permanent)
RD Recruitment (Rugby) Ltd is presently working on behalf of an established Aerospace manufacturing business. They are presently recruiting for a CMM Programmer to join their Inspection team on a permanent basis.
The CMM Programmer will be responsible for programming new projects through CMM inspection and operating CMM\'s for inspection checks on blades. You\'ll review and edit CMM reports and will provide report information in a presentable format for the customer and will be responsible for the condition, calibration and maintenance of CMM (hardware & software).
You\'ll develop a user-friendly system to allow operators to use the CMM for first off/batch inspection and will solve manufacturing/quality problems in a timely manner, implementing corrective actions as required. As CMM Programmer, you\'ll also liaise with Customers\' Quality Departments regarding technical issues/queries and will also liaise with our client\'s Shop Floor Supervision, Personnel and Service Departments, providing sufficient technical support where appropriate.
The CMM Programmer will possess knowledge of operating Mistral, LK & Sheffield CMM machine and will have knowledge of PCDMIS software, too. You\'ll also possess experience of root cause analysis and SPC, too.
Ideally, applicants will possess experience of turbines/compressor blade & vane manufacture, experience of advanced quality tools & techniques and first principle inspection techniques.
This is a permanent position within a growing business. Our client is offering c£20k-£25k (depending on level of experience, skills and knowledge) and a company pension scheme to the successful applicant.
